Order processing, invoicing and collection, customer and service relationship management, marketing communications, maintenance and development of the service to meet customer needs.

We retain personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose of processing personal data or to comply with our contractual obligations and statutory obligations. Order, invoicing and payment terms included in the accounting material are retained in the manner required by the Accounting Act (1336/1997).
Our customer data is stored in Storia's secure database, which is only accessible to Storia and Kustannusosakeyhtiö Siltala employees who maintain the online store to the extent required by their job. Our customer register is strictly confidential.
Personal data may be disclosed to Storia's partners within the limits permitted by law to the extent necessary for the assignment given by the customer. If necessary, the data will be disclosed to our payment service providers, logistics partners and system suppliers (see Subcontractors). Third parties are bound by the same confidentiality obligation as Storia and Siltala Publishing Company employees. The data will not be transferred outside the EU or EEA.
The registered person has the right to check the data concerning him/her, the right to demand the correction of incorrect data and the right to prohibit the use of the data provided for direct advertising, distance selling and other direct marketing as well as market and opinion research, and to otherwise exercise his/her rights protected by the Personal Data Act. Storia has implemented modern organizational and technical data security measures to ensure the protection of the personal data processed at the process and method level. Personal data and unauthorized access, use and disclosure thereof are prevented by modern security technologies. In addition, we pseudonymize or anonymize all possible personal data in our systems whenever possible. We require our suppliers to process personal data in accordance with this policy and general security practices.
